I love cooking with fresh herbs from my garden. My kids and grandkids feel a great sense of accomplishment when they manage to beat me at Scrabble. I delight in exploring historic cities and museums.

Are you a cat or dog person and why?
Definitely a dog person. Both animals can be empathetic and intuitive to us humans but dogs are better at showing it. And I love how dogs seem to always have the best day ever and fully enjoy everyday moments.
What’s the coolest thing about your job?
I get to create pretty things and bring ideas to life in visual ways.

I am taking French cooking lessons because I love French cuisine (particularly French onion soup, beef bourguignon, and macarons). I have a degree in Latin and taught it for 9 years at a high school and 5 years at the local university. I have a black belt in Taekwondo.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?
If I could have one superpower, I would want the force. Then I'd know the hours I've spent practicing weren't wasted.
Where is your happy place?
Planning my day with a good cup of coffee.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
When I was a 19-year-old college student I was worried about choosing the wrong degree program. My stepmom told me, "Make a decision and follow it through. You can always change direction later, but at certain junctures, the most important thing is to choose and act."

To remove pain, emotionally and physically. It keeps people sometimes from seeing how wonderful the world is and keeps them from being happy and at peace.

Print because it's not as hard on the eyes and I love the smell of books. Audio because it allows my mind to paint the picture.

I'm a licensed nail tech, so any and all things NAILS!!!
