Customer Support Representative
MedStudy is hiring a Customer Support Representative. This position will provide customer service and support by responding to callers’ requests and inquiries, providing current information regarding MedStudy‘s products and services, delivering accurate and timely transaction processing, completing computer-related processing requirements, and researching and resolving routine issues. This position will also participate in other activities and projects to support customer service operations. This is a full-time, fully remote position. Responsibilities:
• Supports MedStudy customers through ticketing system, by phone, and by chat
• Responds to customer inquiries and fulfills order requests ensuring accurate and complete information is provided/obtained to complete transactions.
• Provides clear and concise explanations when assisting customers to resolve issues whether it is related to service or technical support
• Educates and assists our customers in learning what products may work best for them
• Communicates pricing and gathers billing information needed to process orders. This includes submitting credit card payments and sending receipt confirmations promptly to customers
• Answers any additional questions, informs customers of features, options, product content, pricing breaks, etc. based on in-depth knowledge of MedStudy products and services
• Researches and resolves shipping issues, responds to service problems, and seeks assistance on more detailed or complex customer support issues
• Participates in scheduled in-service trainings, information sessions, and other related functions to maintain current knowledge of MedStudy products and services and to maintain proficiency in customer support procedures
• Compiles statistical data and prepares various regular and special reports for management as requested
• Completes other department tasks as necessary that may not be mentioned above
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required:
• One year of experience in Customer Support, Administrative Support, or a Retail environment is required
• Associates Degree required
• Must be able to work in multiple computer software systems at one time
• A strong knowledge of technology to help troubleshoot issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• HubSpot, NetSuite, and/or Shopify experience is a plus
Interview process includes assessments such as Achiever (combination assessment) and DiSC (personality assessment).
Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
Staff Accountant
MedStudy is looking for an entry level staff accountant to join our accounting team where you will work collaboratively with the director, controller and senior accountant to provide financial statements and reports as requested by leadership. Utilize your education and skills to meet the goals of the accounting department: accuracy, customer service and automation. This position is 95% remote but does have a requirement of going into the Colorado Springs based office briefly twice a week to check and process mail received.
Responsibilities:
Administer and provide coverage for aspects of MedStudy accounting including but not limited to:
• Vendor Management including bill pay and credit card tracking
• Inventory Management including tracking and communicating with distributor
• Accounts Receivable including invoicing and processing payments
• Cash Management including deposits
• Support customer support team with case management
• Work in multiple systems to ensure accounting entries are correct
• Sales tax requirements and reporting
• Contract review and tracking
• Product release process
• Equipment tracking and management including purchase orders
• Distribute and process mail
• Support testing of new processes and provide ideas to improve
• Participate in process improvement strategy meetings and implement suggestions.
• Maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Associate degree in Accounting with 1 year experience
• Cost and Accrual Accounting knowledge
